SSO - IoT

Internet of Things

The login to centralized or decentralized Apps from an Internet of Things Device use case is part of Single Sign On scenarios.

In this case, the IoT device has also an identity generated, and depending on the complexity of the device it could be passive (receive claims only) and even active (issue claims).

The device can receive claims about privileges, or other assignments for attributes such as location, model, etc; or issue automated claims about other identities about the data it is processing.

Anyway, protocol of iden3 solution is to enable the identity main keys (Operational Keys) to issue a claim for a pair of keys specific for the use in an App which is offering single sign-on and so process the information in the device.
